He is author of seven books on management, including Images of Organization, Imaginization: New Ways of Thinking, Organizing and Managing, Riding the Waves of Change, and Creative Organization Theory.

Translated into fifteen languages, Images of Organization is used as a core management text at over 500 universities worldwide. Gareth has been elected Life Fellow of the International Academy of Management for his international contributions to the science and art of management. He has consulted with many leading corporations throughout Europe and North America and dozens of organizations in education, government, healthcare and the voluntary sector.
