John Macdonald is famous for bringing quality management to the U.K. He established with Philip Crosby one of the largest management firms in Great Britain. Previously, he was an executive with Honeywell. He is an accomplished speaker at international conferences and lectures widely at universities and business colleges. Macdonald is the author of Global Quality: The New Management Culture; But We Are Different… Quality for the Service Sector; a series that includes Understanding TQM in a Week and Understanding Benchmarking in a Week; and other books, He lives in Banstead Village, Surrey, U.K.
