Mark S. Merkow

Mark has been an Information Systems professional since 1975, working in a variety of industries. Over the last ten years he's been working for a Fortune 100 financial services company in Phoenix, Arizona. Currently he serves as a Systems Security Officer for E-commerce Security Design, keeping the cyberpunks at bay!

He's also been writing books and articles on applied computer technology since 1988, with his first book Breaking Through Technical Jargon published in March 1990 by Van Nostrand Reinhold. His latest book, Building SET Applications for Secure Transactions is now shipping.

Mark currently holds a Master of Science in Decision and Information Systems from Arizona State University, and is currently pursuing a Masters of Education degree.
