Peter J. Weinberger has a B.S. in Mathematics from Swarthmore College and a Ph.D. in Number Theory from Berkeley. He taught mathematics at the University of Michigan, and then spent most of his career in systems and software research at Bell Labs. He is Head of Technology at Renaissance Technologies, Inc.
