Rolf-Dieter Kempis
Rolf-Dieter Kempis is director in McKinsey's Düsseldorf office. Rolf-Dieter joined the firm in 1983. He holds degrees in mechanical engineering and economics from the University of Aachen. Before joining McKinsey he spent two years with Thyssen Steel AG, using operations research methods to develop an automated, EDP-compatible production management system. Rolf-Dieter is one of the authors of Simplicity Wins, published in 1995.
