After obtaining a law degree from King's College, London University, Robin spent twelve years with the Royal Dutch/Shell Group. His various appointments included: a year at Manchester Business School; running a network of distributors; trading manager for a Canadian subsidiary; and finally a Senior Marketing Manager. Building on his experience, especially in marketing and trading, he has set up and run trading companies; appraised the activities of a large commodity company, advised on the launch of a successful journal; been active in the training world; and even advised on the design of a new golf course and the marketing and administration of another luxury golf club. Most recently he was recruited to assist in the rescue of Metallgesellschaft Corp in the USA as a Risk Manager.
