Rod Manisis currently computerising business and scientific systems using UNIX software tools for MultiNational Software Corporation. Developer of /rdb, a relational database management system for UNIX, Mr. Manis has over twenty years' experience in computing. He is a top consultant to Bell Labs, Genentech, and other high tech companies, in both the United States and Europe. In addition, he has taught both UNIX and C, developed an expert system for a biomedical foundation, and founded and managed several successful small businesses. Mr. Mansi holds an M.A. degree and is working toward the Ph.D. in Economics from UCLA.
