Terrence E. Deal, Ph.D., an author, teacher, and consultant, has written seventeen books, including the bestselling book Corporate Cultures, and specializes in the study of organizations, leadership change, culture, symbolism, and spirit. He has taught at Harvard and Stanford and currently teaches at Peabody College of Vanderbilt University where he is professor of education and human development.
