Walt Tarpley is President at Durable Solutions and has in the past held positions as Master Consultant at Breakthrough Management Group; Director at First Data Corporation; Director at PACCAR and Six Sigma Master Black Belt at AlliedSignal.

Walt Tarpley is a Lean Master, certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and senior member of ASQ (American Society for Quality), where he holds certifications as a Quality Engineer and Quality Manager. With 400-plus projects under his belt, Walt's leadership has resulted in more than $100 million in project savings. Walt has a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology is currently looking to complete his MBA at University of Phoenix.

Walt is a co-author of The Complete Idiot's Guide to Lean Six Sigma.
