Yochanan Altman currently hold the Chair of International HRM at the University of North London. Dr. Altman trained initially as a work (occupational) psychologist, having attained Chartered status; and hold a doctorate in business anthropology. He have gained 25 years of experience working internationally, at the intersection of culture, business, people and organisations — as a consultant, team leader and academic, teaching and researching.

He hail from Israel, where he spent his formative years. He carried out his National Service in the Air Force and after gaining a few years experience he moved to the United Kingdom for postgraduate training in work psychology. Dr. Altman has lived in London for the past twenty years, from where he has been working on projects world-wide.
